A.P. 6500 Hochdruck Flexible Graphite
A.P. 6500 is a multilayer high strength sheet material comprising 0.5 mm thick layers of high quality graphite foil and 0.05 mm thick stainless steel foil. Depending on the sheet thickness required, several layers of graphite and stainless steel foil are joined together using a unique special process. These layers are fused together using no glues or adhesives which can burn out or delaminate at elevated temperatures. This material has a very high compressive strength, high bursting safety and high rigidity. This material is also available in Nuclear Grade 6500N which meets or exceeds the current GE specifications. |
